Rutgers University Boathouse - New Brunswick N.J., NJ Turnpike to exit 9. Merge to RT 18 North. After merge stay left on 18 past RT 1. Once past RT 1 get over to the Right. Boathouse at bottom of hill. Sharp Right. Comes quickly.

New Brunswick Weather

Mercer County - N.J. Turnpike South, Merge onto NJ-18 N via exit 9 toward US-1 New Brunswick/Princeton/Trenton Tower Center Blvd. You'll see a sign for RT 1 South. GO SOUTH. Merge onto US -1 South toward Trenton. Go to Quaker Bridge Rd/CR-533, go about a few lights to Hughes Dr. make a left (no traffic light at turn, look for a big nursery on left and a row of stores) Mercer Park Entrance on left and follow signs.

Return Trip - Right out of park and then right onto Quaker Bridge Rd. North on Quaker Bridge Rd/CR-533 N. Merge onto US-1 North toward New Brunswick. Merge onto NJ-18 South toward New Brunswick/South River/Old Bridge/I-95/New Jersey Turnpike. Take the ramp toward NY and North.

Princeton Weather

Philadelphia - Boathouse Row - N.J. Turnpike South to exit 6 to Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276 West) Follow PA Turnpike to exit 25A (old) or Exit 20 (new) MID COUNTY. Take this exit (keeping to the left) and follow signs to I-476 South (Chester) After Toll Booth, take I-476 South to Exit 6 or 16 ( junction with I-76 East, The Schuylkill River. Follow signs for Kelly Drive. The Ramp will spiral downwards in a counter-clockwise direction and will merge you onto Kelly Drive, Southbound. MOVE to right land of Kelly Drive after merging at the bottom of the spiral. Take Kelly Dr. past 4 traffic lights. Continue 2 miles on Kelly Dr. to Boathouse Row and Regatta Headquarters. Follow traffic lights and park in lots. Remember which lot you park in!! (they are named) Some lots you can walk to the river and there are others with shuttle buses.

Alternate route - Take RT 1 South to Kelly Drive.

Return Trip - Follow Kelly Drive (river on right) when you get to the Museum (on right) with the famous "rocky" stairs, Stay right, BUT DO NOT TURN RIGHT! Look for signs for 676 then make a right turn onto 676, follow signs for the Ben Franklin Bridge go over bridge and stay on 676 to exit 1B, There will be 2 exits for 1B (use the 2nd one), to the N.J. Turnpike North

If there is too much traffic or you miss the exit -- alternate :

Stay on 676 to Exit 56 (Fort Dix) Stay right, make a left and another left and then right to NJ Turnpike North.

Cherry Hill - Cooper River - N.J. Turnpike South to Exit 4, Take 73 North, 1 traffic light to 295 South, take Exit 34B (Cherry Hill / Route 70W) Go about 4 miles to Culthbert Rd (there are 2 exits, take the 2nd one) Go over Route 70 (heading south) towards Crowne Plaza (formerly Hilton Hotel), Turn right at light onto North Park Blvd & left into Parking Lot (unless you can find street parking)

Return Trip - Left at light onto Culthbert Road & right towards 70E to 295 N to 73 South (exit 36A) to NJ Turnpike North

Driving Instructions

Special Note: There is a low bridge in Oyster Bay with a clearance of 10 ft. 1 in. If you follow the quickest

route to Centre Island you may be directed to go under this bridge. If you have a trailer or bus with more

than 10 ft 1 in vertical height please use the alternative directions listed below. It does pay to measure your

trailer height for safety and convenience.

Directions to Centre Island Beach: From I-495 the Long Island Expressway (L.I.E.) •

24 minutes from Expressway

• At exit 41N of the Expressway - Take 106 / 107 north for 1/2 mile and stay to the right for Route 106. Continue for 6 miles on 106.

• Turn left onto Lexington Avenue. (There is a Hess gas station on your left at this corner.) Go for 1/2 mile to the end.

• Turn left onto West Main Street. Go through two traffic lights and the road curves to the right. •

After the railroad underpass (Height 10’ 1”) the street name will change to West Shore Road.

Continue for 2 miles to the Bayville Drawbridge. •

Cross the bridge and make the first right. Go for 1 mile to the end.

• Turn right onto Bayville Ave. Go a short ways.

• Finally turn right into the Centre Island Beach Park.

Alternate Directions that Avoid the Low Railroad Underpass: From I-495 •

35 minutes from the expressway

• At exit 41N of the Expressway - Take 106 / 107 north for 1/2 mile and stay to the right for Route 106. Continue on 106 for 3.5 miles.

• Turn left at RT-25A W (Northern Blvd). Go 2.2 miles. •

. The road comes to a fork at the end. •

Bear left at the fork onto Birch Hill Rd. Go a short ways and cross the railroad tracks.

• Immediately turn right onto Buckram Rd. (Forest Ave/ Buckram). Go 1 mile. •

Turn left onto Bayville Rd. Go 2.2 miles. You will see the Long Island Sound as you curve right. • Continue onto Bayville Ave. (Same road you are on). Go 2.5 miles.

• Turn right into Centre Island Beach Park

Turn right at Wolver Hollow Rd. Go .6 miles.

• Turn left at Piping Rock Rd. Go to the end 3 miles
