Erg Page

Athletes should be independently erging at the YMCA from November - February. Sessions at the H.S. will be explored.

Each session should be a minimum 5K. Intervals by stroke or time suggested. Lower s/m and drive the splits down. Erging in pairs with concentration on good form and flexibility. 2K and 4K often. Alternative workouts can be found on Concept2.com

2K re-takes by appointment only, Thursdays at 3:30, 2 or more athletes.

This is year minimum 2K erg testing standards will be in place for team eligibility. Erg Ranking will have an impact on boat placements. Students who do not meet the minimum requirements but still wish to row will be boated with comparable athletes.
