Welcome to Westfield Crew
Westfield Crew offers competitive rowing for high school students from Westfield, New Jersey and a summer Learn-to-Row program for students entering grades 9-12. Our home for water practices is the Raritan River at the Rutgers Boatyard in New Brunswick (location, directions), and we row competitively at venues around the tri-state area.
Our main racing season is in the spring. In the fall, Westfield Crew offers opportunities for new rowers (who have completed LTR) to build their skills on the water, and we also participate in several regattas.
We are a private, tuition-based, not-for-profit rowing club. The summer Learn-to-Row program is a prerequisite to participate on the competitive rowing team. Sessions fill up on a first-come basis and are open to those who wish to become part of the competitive team or those who simply wish to try out the sport.
